"Well, if this is really a dream..." Sarah thought, then concentrated on her surroundings. Suddenly, her classmates poofed into little birds of all different colors, and her professor became a tiny squirrel, still chattering at her, although his tirade was now no more than a bunch of squeaks. Satisfied, Sara smiled, then looked around. The four walls of the classroom fell away to reveal a beautiful glen in a lush forest, a brook running through it. The birds and squirrel took off into the surrounding woods, and the desks melted down to become a layer of rich, soft grass.
"Anything is possible, huh?" Sara said out loud, spinning happily and then collapsing down onto the grass, arms and legs splayed. What to do first? Maybe try something she could never do in real life, and something she would never admit to wishing for. After all, in her dreams, who would know?
Sarah wanted...a tail. It was kind of a weird curiosity of hers, but she just wanted to know what it felt like. Would it be heavy, or uncomfortable? Would it wiggle with pleasure when she was happy? Maybe droop when she was sad?
