Flying at supersonic speed, it took Janet mere seconds to overtake her destination. Realizing her mistake, she immediately stopped and turned around. The first thing she noticed was an enormous white building on top of a hill, surrounded by a stone wall. It looked like one of those medieval castles Janet saw on TV just a few days ago. Below and surrounding the castle was a mass of buildings which were themselves protected by even larger wall. The buildings mere mostly simple wooden structures two or three stories high, with a few stone buildings scattered.
Janet scanned the nearby area with her supervision. She could make out more than two dozen smaller sized communities. Four or five of them were towns, surrounded by simple farming villages. There was nothing even remotely close to modern technology. It was obvious that she had discovered a preindustrial society. She wondered how the people of this world would react to an all-powerful goddess. What did she do?
