Most kids think they have a monster under the bed. That in the middle of the night, a horrific creature will sneak out of hiding and eat or kill them in their sleep. When you get to a certain age, of course, you realize there's no such thing, that it doesn't make sense to be scared of that when monsters don't really exist.
At least, that's what Ethan Cowe always thought. At 17, Ethan was way too old to be scared of monsters like that, especially with how much scarier stuff in the real world could be. So he slept pretty comfortably most nights.
One night, however, a monster did emerge from his bed. He felt something strange touch at his feet, woke up, and saw a weird creature. But he quickly cottoned on that the monster wasn't just gonna eat or kill him like he'd always feared as a kid.
The real monster under Ethan's bed wasn't interested in childish fear, but teenage lust. It tapped into Ethan's weird fetishes, the secrets about his mind and body no one knew, and did strange and sexual things to him which would change his life forever.
