A chime resonated through the air, and Jeff glanced at the computer above him. "Did something else unlock?" he questioned aloud. Jeff pushed his foot into the ground and pressed his hand into the carpet, trying to stand. He realized his mistake too let and smacked his face into his new brother's. He abruptly pulled away, but felt a sudden, sharp tug in the center of his abdomen. It was a reminder that he was no longer the sole owner of his body. "Sorry..." he shifted slightly to look at his brother, whom was also just turning around to face him. It was eerie to look at a mirror image of himself.
Cameron laughed nervously, "I'm sorry too. I tried to stand up by my self too... which is kind of impossible."
Jeff and his brother spent the next several minutes shifting their body into the computer chair. Chris and Josh had made it seem so easy, but he had clearly underestimated the amount of coordination it took to move one body when their were two pilots. It was doubly awkward for Jeff as he was trying to work together with essentially a stranger. They may have looked identical, but he, of course, knew nothing about his new conjoined twin brother, and yet, they had to be nearly in sync with each other. It was frustrating as they took turns signaling out loud what they were doing, "I'm bracing my leg... Stop moving so quick... My turn... I'm grabbing the table... Now slowly lower down..."
With a surprising jolt, Jeff and his new brother landed into the large computer chair. "We did it, phew..." Cameron sighed beside him. "This was a terrible idea; I knew I should halve inputed you as just my regular twin brother... not conjoined."
"Same..." Jeff admitted. "And I thought it would be easier..."
"...killing a two-headed bird with one stone." Jeff heard his brother echo with him. Cameron smiled, "I guess we do think a lot alike."
Jeff returned the smile, "Too bad we weren't originally born as twins... Meeting you under these circumstances is a little challenging."
"A little?" His twin smirked.
Jeff chose not to answer and instead looked at the screen. Like he had suspected, he and his twin had a new message; which he hoped meant that they unlocked a new feature. He reached for the mouse, only for his hand to rub the empty, red mousepad. To the left of his keyboard was a blue mousepad with the mouse resting on top. "That's weird..." He spoke at the same time as his twin.
Cameron grabbed the remote and clicked on the envelope icon. A new message appeared on the screen: "Congratulations user! After making your first saved modification on yourself, you have unlocked an additional tool: Memory profile. Please note, this is one of a few options that allow changes after profiles have been saved. The timer will be reset, and an additional 12 hours will be added to the timer. The more saved changes you make will also unlock other helpful tools for more specific modifications, or even more wide-sweeping modifications. Remember, you are the sculptor, and the world is the statute you are trying to discover."
Jeff shared a glance with his brother, "Memory profile..." Cameron exited out of the message and clicked on their greyed-out joint profile. There was a new unmarked checkbox with the word 'Memory' next to it, which his twin clicked. Two addition, non-greyed options appeared at the bottom.

"So what..." his twin spoke his thoughts aloud, "Our memories are the Personal and the World is everyone else's."
Jeff spoke, "And Unaltered must meant no new memories, and Fully altered must mean new memories for whatever changes are inputed. Can you..."
"Already on it." Cameron smiled as he clicked on Personal Memories. A drop-down menu appeared with three options: Unaltered, Partially Altered, Fully Altered. Hovering the cursor over each option made a small explanation window appeared. Both the Unaltered and Fully Altered meant what they had figured, but the Partially Altered read as: "Subject(s) maintain original memories and new memories manifest as needed."
"That one... we need that one!" Jeff exclaimed excitedly. Having new memories appear would make their current transformation much easier. And he was very curious on how his new life was different from his original.
His brother seemed to agree as he selected the Partial Alteration. Another pop-up window appeared. "Warning. Modifications made to the Personal Memory option will effect multiple subjects. Changes will not apply until saved. Do you wish to continue?" Cameron paused with the cursor hovering over 'Okay' button.
"Cam, are you going to select it?" Jeff questioned.
Cameron turned to look at him. "We'll be conjoined twins for a whole day, not just 12 hours..."
"I don't think we could make it 12 hours if we don't." Jeff pointed out. "At least this way, we'll actually know each other and not be look-alike strangers who share a body."
"Yeah... I guess I just wanted to make sure since it effects us both." He said before selecting the 'Okay' button. He then moved the cursor to the 'Save' button at the bottom of their joint profile. After another moment's hesitation, Cameron clicked it.
