The group watched as Andrew's T-shirt and jeans began to wrinkle.
The teen clothes that he had been filling moments earlier began to look baggy and loose on him.
"Hey, what's going on?" he shouted in a voice seemed noticeably higher in pitch. "I'm an adult, not some random teenage guy, make me big again"
Unfortunately, it was clear that Andrew's time as any sort of teenager was coming to an end.
There was a clatter as the sneakers that were now several sizes too large for his feet fell to the floor. His features softened and whatever dusting of fluff there had been about his chin and top lip vanished completely. He was no more than a child now.
Dan gulped. Being fourteen was bad enough but being even smaller was unthinkable.
Andrew was standing now and seemed to be a good foot shorter than he had been only moments ago. His clothing looked comical with the cuffs of his jeans pooling over his feet and Dan noted that he was having to keep tight hold of the waistband to prevent even greater embarrassment.
He turned towards Dan, looking way up at him from his new height of four foot something.
"Help me, man. Look what they have done to me. I'm a little kid"
The woman began to speak.
"So Jacob, what is it to be? Do you fancy joining little Andrew in 5th Grade, or are we all going to be well behaved and do what we are told?"
She continued:
"And Andrew, I hope you are going to be a good boy from now on or we might need to give you another lesson in manners"
Andrew looked pale and hoisted himself back onto his chair with as much dignity as ill fitting clothes would allow.
