Dr Jenkins looked around frantically as he tried to come up with a plan. It was then that he spotted a clipboard lying beside the farmhand as she convulsed in pain on the floor. He instantly recognised the format of the top sheet of paper: it was a transportation schedule.
The Stables used similar timetables to show when lorries would arrive to take recently-transformed visitors to their new homes. The doctor scanned the list carefully, noting that several large batches of animals were scheduled to be shipped off later that day. If he could slip onto one of the lorries as an animal and avoid being mated with for a week, he then had a good chance of escaping. It was risky, but he had little time to delay.
Acting quickly, Jenkins quickly grabbed a suitable serum before pushing past the transforming farmhand. He then made his way back towards the entrance to the barn, where he arrived just in time to witness the loud moos of Carter and her mate as they reached their second climax of the day.
However, Jenkins was too busy to stand and gloat. Instead he entered an empty stall and bolted the door shut. He prayed that this would work as he injected himself with the serum. The surge of pain that soon gripped his body was oddly reassuring: it was working.
