Nat ended up saying yes, which confused herself. She was sitting with the clowns and listened to them giggle when the word 'but' was said. She heard another fourth giggle join in, and was suprised to know it came from herself. The word 'but' was apparently the funniest thing to her now.
At the lunch break, instead of going to eat food, she was dragged along by the trio into a makeover room. Perr- Leni painted her facy a pasty white, then applied red eyeshadow and bright pink lipstick. She was told to change into baggy clothes that resembled theirs, except the color was a bright baby blue.
They gave her the Micky Mouse gloves and she put them on herself. Her mind was giggling at the randomest things. They dyed her hair a bright blue, and tied her hair into pins with baby blue ribbons, topping her hair off with a big hat with a blue ribbon and pink, green and periwinkle stripes on it. Finally, they gave her big red shoes and put the classic red nose on her and honked it, which caused them all to laugh. Nat hadn't laughed like that in such a long time, her mouth curved up into a curvy grin. The three clowns danced around her, chanting "Dipsy! Blue! Clown! Silly! Happy!" and more words like that. Nat found herself joining in happily and voluntarily.
And so, Boopy, Perri, Jojo and Dipsy danced off to class happily, more ready then ever for that children's show.
