Leah doesn’t feel confident in her ability to pose as a baby or toddler. She thinks she would be found out quickly, which would be humiliating. And even if she could pull it off, she’d be stuck in diapers or training pants the whole time. She wants to have fun at camp, not wear protection for accidents. So, she signs up for Camp Willowcreek.
Getting the supplies and clothes is as simple as digging them out of storage. The clothes she wore in elementary school still fit her perfectly. They might be a bit out of style now, but since Leah doesn’t really want to buy clothes for this experiment, they’ll have to do.
Leah originally plans on convincing Tina to drop her off a block away from where campers will be meeting. However, the day she’s supposed to leave for camp, Tina gets called into work for something, and apologetically tells Leah she’ll have to walk to the site. Leah tells her it’s not a problem, which is true. It makes things easier. Now, she can dress up as a kid at home instead of dress like usual, then change into her juvenile clothes when she arrives.
Her first day outfit consists of a sundress, tights, and sandals. She puts her hair into a long ponytail and looks at her reflection. Perfect. Leah grabs her bags and sets off for the site.
