(The title is just a joke)
You wake up suddenly, not knowing why. But your eyes see only darkness except for the fires in the distance. Thick clouds covered the sky and blocked the moonlight.
Metallic footsteps echoed outside the establishment.
"Oh, for fucks shake!"
Two sinister shapes emerged from the shadows. They were clad in armor and their helmets bore four holes where four yellow eyeballs gleamed. Preparing for a preemptive strike, you pull out the shotgun and take aim at the approaching enemies. Suddenly a scream echoed from the kitchen.
"Shit… Luisa !?"
A growl in barbaric and indecipherable language came from among the warriors, drawn to the restaurant. With a curse, you raise the gun and open fire. You don't reach any of them but you get them to disperse within the ruins.
Taking advantage of this moment, you turn around and run to the kitchen. More screams came from the street. With your hands you pull the doorknob and enter the room.
The kitchen was a Dantesque scene: The entire place was completely razed, dozens of cutlery, plates and pans levitated in the middle of the room like birds of prey. Luisa was lying on the ground, with a knife stuck in her arm, despite being bleeding, she was still breathing. You approach to help her, but the possessed objects stop dead in midair. A knife changes course and shoots in your direction.
A second volley from the shotgun echoes off the kitchen walls, making your ears ring. This time, you have better aim and the knife go down. Luisa had turned around and was now crawling across the ground trying to reach to you. You keep the weapon raised ready to cover her in case the "poltergeist" tries something. But it seemed to be waiting for something, patiently.
A hand comes through the door made of wood, and grabs you by the neck, taking your breath away. The shotgun falls to the ground. You feel a sharp pain running through your left leg, the ghost must have thrown another knife, this time it had been successful.
You were slowly sinking into unconsciousness, your muscles were losing their strength, and your grip on that hand had loosened.
Chunk
"Arrrgh!"
Chunk
You could feel the grip of that thing losing strength, the invading hand finally releasing its grip letting you breathe again.
When you opened your eyes, you could see Luisa with her eyes open, carrying a kitchen knife covered in a black substance.
"Come on!" The disturbed woman pushes you away from the door with her hands.
"Just a moment."
Using what little strength you have left, you throw a shelving over the door, leaving it locked. Now you only had to worry about ...
Scissors stick to the side of your face.
"Fuck!" You automatically crouch down holding Luisa, trying to avoid the metal rain that fell on both of you. The two of you take refuge behind one of the tables bolted to the floor.
"We have to get to the back room!"
The idea was clear to him, the problem was to carry it out. Leaving the head uncovered, you scan the kitchen under the control of the raging spirit.
"I think I have an idea."
You hoped it didn't end up killing you both.
