Jacob knows immediately that the culprit has to be the Speedo. He wished it would be a lot looser, and when he turned into a toddler, it was. He goes back into the main area of the changing room to search for the Speedo. After spotting it, he slips it on.
“I wish dis suit fit me pewfeckly,” he says in a toddler lisp. A strange tingling sensation passes over him. He feels himself grow. Excited to have cracked the code, he looks in the mirror. His heart falls. He’s older than before, but still younger than he should be. The Speedo really was too small for him.
Clearly, if he wants to return to his proper age, he needs a bigger swimsuit. Jacob leaves the changing room and goes to the pool’s desk.
“Can I see the Lost and Found box?” he asks. The employee silently takes the box out from under the desk and hands it to Jacob. He quickly digs through it, looking for anything that seems right.
“Hi, I’d like to report an unattended child,” Seth’s voice says. Jacob freezes. Seth has approached the desk. “Some little squirt running around naked when he should’ve been in a diaper.” Jacob grabs a swimsuit and rushes away, desperate to avoid being spotted and recognized by Seth. He arrives back in the changing room, slips off the Speedo, and puts the new swimsuit on.
