Ayami grumbled as the search party now found themselves at Circes amusement park. The search had proven to be another dead end meaning they were no closer to finding the children.
What was worse was an emerging emergency in the other timeline. Ayami had watched as Gloria's friends left, leaving the succubus with only Yuriko, Rexie, and Akira. The trio now sat idly by as Jack and Kellie talked.
Ayami glowered at the five tail kitsune as Jack now talked with the others about trying to find Mia, Zack, and the baby. Kellie wanted to help but both the Lycans and Dragons needed to be seen as things were unsettled. Katie and Karen volunteered to help while Jack order Bob and Sebastian to go as well.
"Hey Ayami you want to turn it down a bit," Rexie hissed. The succubus narrowed her eyes, looking down at her imp companion. "I'm just standing here," she growled. "What's wrong with that?"
"In full on demon mode," Rexie countered. "Seriously, can you tone it down? Even Jack is drooling over you right now."
Ayami looked over at the group, noticing every single Male was indeed checking out the succubus, every Male except Akira.
"Why is fox boy here," Ayami grumbled. "We didn't ask for his help."
Rexie gave the succubus a confused look, the imp looked over at the kitsune, noticing he appeared to be brooding as the others talked. "Well he is a hell of a fighter," Rexie stated. "I mean he fights and broods like Batman. Kinda rather have him on our side." Ayami said nothing, continuing to glare at the kitsune.
"No way!"
"What," Ayami hissed.
"You have a crush on Akira."
"What," Ayami exclaimed blushing. "That's ridiculous!"
Rexie furrowed her brow as she now studied the teenage succubus. "Your an awful liar for a demon," Rexie stated. "Its written all over your face."
"Shut up," Ayami growled baring her fangs.
Rexie smiled, exposing her needle like teeth as she gazed at the flummoxed demon. "Oh yeah you definitely have a crush," the imp chuckled. "It makes sense to be honest. Remember Ayami you used to be human. I remember what you used to be like."
"I said shut up," Ayami bellowed, her skin turning even redder.
"I may have been a loser Ayami when we were human but I was better off than you," Rexie teased. "I remember a mousey teenage girl. Unnoticed, unloved, no one cared about you except some kid with cancer. When he died you would have been alone in the world."
"Say another word imp and I'll send you to hell," Ayami threatened. If Ayami could cry the succubus would be in tears. She hated remembering what she was before becoming a demon. Rexie knew this and noticing a weakness was now doing what came natural to the imp, cause trouble.
"Tell me Ayami," Rexie smirked. "Had you even kissed anyone before becoming a demon?"
Ayami screamed, her voice filled with rage as she raised her taloned hand above her head. She would send Rexie to hell, let her suffer as she made her way back to the mortal world. The demons hand was stopped though, gazing upwards the demon was speechless as Akira glared down at her.
"I doubt destroying an imp will help us demon," Akira frowned. Ayami was speechless, gazing into the kitsunes eyes she could swear she felt her pulse quicken.
"I dont think I've ever seen a demon where glasses before," Akira said curiously. "Its an interesting look. I approve."
Ayami muttered a thank you, watching as the kitsune went to rejoin the others, casting a quizzical look at the succubus.
"Aww I think he likes you too," Rexie chuckled.
Ayami frowned, backhanding the imp into a nearby wall. Sighing she now watched as Akira, confused if it was even possible for a demon to like someone.
