As Jess is standing still, staring up at a bench, someone grabs her hand.
“What are you doing, honey?” asks the person, a young woman. Before Jess can reply, the woman lifts Jess’s dress to check on her diaper. “Ooh, you need a change really bad! Good thing we’re heading back. I’ll change you when we’re in the classroom, okay?”
“But-” Jess starts.
“No buts. I can’t let you stay in that messy diaper.” The woman brings Jess over to a group of other toddlers of varying ages and potty training levels, judging by the differing diaper bulge sizes. Once the woman and her fellow chaperones feel they’ve gathered all the toddlers, they’re ushered across the street, to an elementary school that has a preschool classroom.
Jess is desperate enough for a diaper change that she decides to go along with it. The young woman immediately brings her to a changing station when they get to the classroom. Jess lets out a sigh of relief as her thoroughly filled diaper is removed, she is wiped down, and a fresh diaper is taped on.
Now that she has a fresh diaper, Jess is put on the ground and instructed to join her new classmates. She toddles over to a corner with building blocks, then discretely pulls out her phone. There’s no way she’ll be able to get out on her own. Someone will have to pick her up at the end of the school day. She hurriedly texts her best friend Pelly, who she told about her prank ahead of time. Pelly texts back, saying that her little sister goes to kindergarten at the same school Jess is in, so picking her up won’t be a problem.
Satisfied to have an escape plan set up, Jess hides her phone and looks around, wondering what she’s in for right now.
