Ayami, Rexie, Yuriko, and Akira found themselves pursuing yet another lead as they trudged through some nearby woods. "What makes you think this lead is any better than your previous ones future girl," Rexie grumbled.
"A hunch okay," Yuriko frowned. "Now will you just trust me. We all want the same thing here."
"Trusting you hasnt exactly worked out," Ayami huffed. Akira quickly turned scolding the succubus. "Criticizing the girl will get us no where demon," he frowned.
Ayami felt her face flush as she gazed at the kitsune. It infuriated her that she felt something for the kitsune. How was it even possible? She was a succubus, a demon of lust. But it wasnt lust she felt for Akira, their was something about this kitsune she truely cared for.
"You right sorry," Ayami said softly, cursing herself for apologizing. Akira gave her a curious look. Ayami couldnt help but wonder, did Akira care about her too?
The kitsune now paused, his dander beginning to rise as he gazed towards a grove of trees. "What is it," Yuriko asked.
Before the kitsune could answer a werewolf came barreling through the trees, running headlong to the imp and succubus. Akira and Yuriko watched as the five if them collapsed into a heap.
"Mia?"
"Zack?"
Mia and Zack blinked before bursting into joyous tears as they hugged their demonic caretakers. "Rexie," Mia squealed. "Your here! I've missed you so much!"
"Ayami, Ayami," Zack bellowed, squeezing the succubus in a bone crunching bear hug. "You wouldnt believe what's happened. I took care of a baby and Mia and I ran from this scary looking fox monster.."
A wave of relief washed over Ayami as she gazed at Zack. She had been worried about him since his disappearance. As she looked at Zacks arms she could see a small infant. "Future girl!"
Yuriko slowly approached the children that would grow to become her god parents. Cradled in Zacks arms was now a small infant, an infant that was her. "Whoa," Yuriko whispered.
"Rexie who is that," Mia asked.
"Um that's um Yuriko," Rexie said sheepishly.
"Oh wow the babies name is Yuriko too," Mia exclaimed.
"We can talk later let's get the kids out of here," Ayami said. "Hey fox boy you ready?"
Akira said nothing continuing to look towards the woods. As Ayami approached, Akira pushed her down. "Get Down!"
Ayami crashed to the forest floor as a pair flaming kitana's seared past. Startled the succubus watched as a pair of Voids charged out of the brush, tackling the five tailed kitsune. "The children are still in danger," Akira roared. "Take them and leave."
"We have to help him," Yuriko exclaimed.
"Are you nuts," Rexie screeched. "We got to get the kids out of here."
"The imp is right," Akira growled as he slammed one of the Voids into a fallen log. "Something much worse is coming."
"Hes right."
The group now turned towards the voice, noticing as the blind seven tailed kitsune Isao emerged from the forest. "Akira," he growled. "Have you sunk so low that you would consort with wizards and demons? Why could Lord Fukushu consider you his greatest warrior?"
"Despite Fukushu's lust for vengeance he recognized a superior kitsune warrior," Akira snarled. "Your jealousy has always been so transparent. It is why you still are led by a traitor like a common dog."
Isao sneered, summoning forth more of his flaming blades. "I will show you what a dog can do!"
Isao now called for his forces to attack, a dozen Voids sprinting forward looking to capture the children. Akira used his magic, incinerating the two Voids he was fighting and engaging the squadron that now looked to take the children.
Yuriko watched as Akira now engaged in a fierce battle, shocked that the kitsune seemed true to his boast. The five tail kitsune was indeed a skilled warrior, not only holding off the dozen Voids but disabling them as well. Still though she wished to help.
Useing her powers Yuriko now lifted a group of Voids into the air, sending them sailing into a nearby tree.
"Rexie, Ayami we should help too!"
Ayami and Rexie gaped at their young charges as they now charged into battle. Mia casting a spell, while Zack grabbed a nearby Void slamming it to the ground. Seeing no other recourse the two demons launched themselves forward into battle.
Isao grinned, while he could not see the battle, he could sense what was going on. The future Yuriko would jump into battle to stop the Voids, Mia and Zack would quickly follow. Ayami and Rexie would have no choice but now join the fight. Now it was Isaos turn to strike.
"Casseus I have them the time has come to strike."
Yuriko, Akira, and the others were too preoccupied with the battle to notice the silver haired man now appear behind them. A sinister smirk crossed his face as he conjured his mystical spear. "Finally the children will be mine."
With a word Casseus sent forth a massive shockwave causing everyone to be scattered. As Yuriko now tried to regain her bearings she gasped in horror as she saw Mia, Zack, and baby Yuriko lay unconscious by Isao and Casseus.
"Akira the children!"
Akira looked up to see Casseus begin to summon a portal. Roaring with unbridled rage the kitsune now charged forward. "Isao dispose of him," Casseus stated.
Isao smiled, summoning forth a flaming sword before launching it at Akira. The kitsunes eyes went wide as he saw the blade speed towards him, only for Ayami to throw herself in front of him.
"Ayami," Akira exclaimed as the the blade impaled the succubus. Kitsune and succubus crashed to the ground, the demon wounded but still alive.
As Akira and Yuriko now watched Casseus waved, vanishing through the portal with Mia, Zack, and Yuriko.
