He was going to turn a part of himself into a robot.
Jake always wondered what it was like to be a robot or a cyborg. He liked C3P0, the Terminator, the machine woman from Metropolis, and Robo-Cop. He was also unsure if this Chronivac would work. So turning a part of him into a robot would be a safe start.
He selected the option for the change.
Hand type: Humanoid
Why alter the hand's shape at this point?
Skin type?
Jake looked through the vast selection of skins, all types of metals, plastics that looked human (boring!), wait. Jake stopped as he scrolled, black carbon fiber? Jake smiled he ticked the box next to the change.
Skin type: Black carbon fiber
Strength level?
Jake thought about this, it would be cool to be super strong but he'd break his computer, the door, and way too much at the moment.
Strength Level: Human
Skeletal structure: Titanium
Titanium was an easy choice, not too heavy but strong enough for his body to handle.
Palm grip?
Jake ticked the box for it.
360 hand rotation?
As cool as it was Jake did not see a purpose for it at the time.
"Let's begin!" Jake laughed as he hit the transform button.
It seemed like nothing happened at first. Then his pinky fingernail fell off. Then his ring finger. It was happening on both hands at the same time. A dark complexion took over his hands. His hands began to look slightly blocky, as they took on a more robotic look,
At his knuckles, he saw dark metal at each knuckle as he bent his fingers to see what was going to happen. On the palm of his hand, a grip surface formed it was black.
Looking at his hands Jake saw how square his hands looked. He could see the fibers in the carbon fiber. His hands did not feel heavy and he decided to test them. He picked up a stapler on his desk and saw how able his hands were.
"Oh, this is so Cool!" Jake said to his brand new hands. He wondered what he could do next? He could play wit the hands some more or he could do some more changes? He had lots of options on the changes! Or he could take it easy. It was just fun to enjoy this.
