Vanessa took a deep breath and considered how far she wanted to go back. She knew she still had her limits and the physical limits of the necklace. She decided to stay ape like , however she didn’t want to completely forgo walking upright. The perfect choice than hit her like a stone!
“Another 3 Million Years Ago.. Ardipithecus Ramidus”, Vanessa thought to herself as she clenched her necklace.
In an instant the blue haze surrounded her again. She watched as time itself this time was quickly reversing. The Dinofelis reassembled and dashed backwards into the unknown. The ground around Vanessa started moving faster and faster with the now backwards travel of her troop. The sun raised and set rapidly as she noticed her troop getting younger. Older apes joined then seemingly out of nowhere as they rapidly shrank into children. Vanessa found herself in awe watching then regress even faster. In a blink of an eye, the generation she joined were mere infants being breastfed. She blinked again to find them gone out of their now pregnant mother’s arms. Followed by pregnancy reversed itself before her eyes, ultimately leading to reversed mating and unconception. This cycle continued with the now new old generation even faster. As the cycle sped up Vanessa started to notice greater changes in the troop, herself, and the landscape. Trees started to appear more often, as the fur on their bodies thickened. Vanessa’s toes elongated as she watched the troop start to take more trips into the treetops. Her skull shrank and brow elongated each time hunting parties brought back smaller and smaller game. Eventually hunting turning into scavenging, as the stone tools they used became duller and fewer in number. The Savanah eventually disappeared, completely overtaken by a prehistoric forest. Vanessa’s and the other females in the troop breasts sagged and shrank into small sacks. Her toes spread out and became almost like another set of fingers, coinciding with her troop now spending half their day in the trees. Time soon afterwards began to flow less quickly backwards.
Before Vanessa knew it, time was flowing forward again.
