RicJosh stood looking at the content and snake-like Mr. Mendes. Suddenly, Mr. Mendes began to make choking sounds and soon vomited the digested remains of the mouse that had once been the great wizard Yenarek.
Mr. Mendes fell to the floor. RicJosh looked at the foul mess on the floor, when suddenly, the pool of vomit formed into a moving mass that rose off the floor and the diembodied voice of Yenarek blsted into the room, "CURSE YOU ALL FOR THE ATTEMPT AT MY DESTRUCTION! THOSE WHO COULD NOT PROTECT WILL BE DIMINISHED TO SLAVES! THOSE WHO TURN ON THEIR MASTER SHALL SLITHER UPON THE EARTH!...AND THOSE WHO OPPOSE ME AS A TEAM OF ONE SHALL BE SINGLE IN THEIR DEATH!"
A great flash came from the standing pool of vomit. RicJosh grabbed the book and put it in front of his face. The book emitted a firey blast even larger than that of Yenarek's as though to protect the group. Light eveloped all of the members of the household. Then, Yenarek, or his foul remains, disentagrated from the power of the book into nothingness and his boy sized clothing burst into flames and dissappeared...without harming the floor.
Yenarek was no more, but his last spell mixed with the power of the book still had some effect. Mr. Mendes groaned in both agaony and pleasure as his limbs dissappeared and his bones cracked. All that was left of Francisco Mendes was green black snake on the floor hissing and ready to strike...but it would not harm anyone without the command of RicJosh. The book even created a glass like container around the serpent.
Marco began to deminish in size, keeping his musculer body, the model shrank to the size of a child. He was still somewhat dazed from the first transformation as Yenarek's protector.
As for RicJosh, the boys melded compleatly into one human being. Their ages of 13 and 12 added together turning them into one muscular and beautiful 25 year old man. RicJosh burst out of his clothes and stood compleatly naked in the living room...his mind becoming one.
The former combined boy, RicJosh, came out of the stuper of the spells. He remembered the two former boys, Ric and Josh, but he was now an independent being with all their memories and yet a mind of his own...He would call himself RJ.
RJ looked at his well hung and well built body, "All right!" he said feeling both at once excited about the new body and wondering why he even got that excited since he had always been this way...always being only the last few moments.
The book opened. A page showed up and explained what had happened. Yenarek's curse had some effect, but the book kept it from killing the boys and turned RJ's former guardians into HIS servants rather than Yenarek's. Unlike Yenarek's spell, this one was not permanent, it could be reversed, but not with the power of the book. RJ would have to seek out the spell to put everything back to normal.
Mr. Mendes would reamin a snake except when doing the bidding of RJ. Under RJ's command, Francisco would become a serpent-like man in the upper body and a snake in the lower body. He would carry out RJ's bidding....he was also extreamly poisonus to anyone he bit. He would only bite on command or as protection and had the power to determine if the bite would kill or transform the victim into another snake with no power. RJ took Franciso in his tank and put him on a table in the living room.
RJ then walked to the boy sized Marco...who could still only remember how to speak spanish. His intelligence level was also dropping...not to that of a complete idiot, but enough to make him more serviceable. Marco looked at the new man named RJ, "Cómo hice tan pequeño? I... que me siento como si mi nivel de la inteligencia está cayendo cada segundo!" (How did I get so small? I...I feel as though I am loosing intelligence every second.)
RJ looked at the little man, "It's okay Marco...are you okay?" Marco answered, "Estoy muy bien, amo." (I am fine Master.) RJ was surprised by the response, "Master!?" Marco continued, " Sí, mi solamente papel ahora es servirle principal. Soy su esclavo pequeño." (Yes, my only role in life is serve you. I am your small slave.)
RJ was shocked, then his attention was once again pulled to the book. The page turned and on it was printed, "The power of Tranformation shall now be found in a new vessle." The book flammed and the glow enveloped RJ. When the flame went out, the book remained in tact but empty...RJ now had the power of transformation.
Now the adventure was just beginning for the new man, his small servant and his serpent.
