"...I want to be cuter." Eric said.
"Huh?" Both girls were no longer smiling.
"Why would you want that?" Amy asked. "Being cuter gets you nothing." She added.
"You talk as if you are speaking from experience." Jen commented sagely.
Amy rolled her eyes. "It sucks. No one takes you seriously."
"Sure..." Jen commented.
"But why do you want to be cuter?"Amy asked Eric.
Eric shrugged his shoulders. "I just like cute. That and it's just easier as you said."
Amy was taken aback. So instead, she sarcastically repeated what Eric said earlier. "Suddenly, years of my life makes sense..."
"Sure it does..." Jen shrugged. "You do you."
With nothing else to say on the matter, Amy picked up the dice. "Right. My turn."
She rolled the die and got a perfect pair of 6s.
"Congrats." Eric complemented.
"Thank you." Amy replied.
Her piece went forward 12 spaces, marking her the first player to make it past the green spaces.
"Wow, finally. Another color. Maybe now, the game will actually stop being boring." Jen commented.
Amy picked her card and read it.
