Alec hesitated with putting on the rings. Sure doing so meant that he may be able to use magic more easier, since he didn't have any magical abilities unlocked yet. Just don't mix in any strong outside thoughts. Doing so will either cause the magic to explode, combine it which creates a new magic, but the effects may be harsh on your body, or do nothing but drain your mana."

"No, sorry that was just a joke. 99.99% of the time it just fails and you waste mana. The other is you make a new magic, but it is rare for beginners. However if you somehow do make one, it almost is a guarentee that it will become your most powerful ability in your arsenal. This is because it will be unique to you, and be completely catered to your greatest strengths and capabilities, plus it usually grows with you as you get stronger."
"Umm, can you say it in a way I can understand better? I got a general idea, but most of that second half was kind of list on me" admitted Alec.
"You know how you have the Posession skill?" Now it was Vivian's turn to explain it seemed. "It is basically like that, except with magic, and much rarer. Only you have access to it, and it grows in power with you."
Thinking about it, Alec remembered hearing that certain magics could be used by only a few advanced magicians back when he registered with the guild. This was probably what they were talking about. "Ok, I will give it a shot."
"One more thing. Do not try and force a new spell, it doesn't work like that. If you are meant to do it, it will simply happen. It is just that not having a clear image in your mind can slightly help it appear, if it ever will. But it isn't worth the mana drain attempting something which may never even happen" reminded Andrea. Alec nods and begin his first attempt.
For his first attempt at magic, Alec decides that Fire will be easiest since he just was able to see it, meaning the image was still fresh in his mind. "Good, now that you have an idea, imagine whatever it is, being shot out of your right index finger, and for now, say 'fire'. Once you get more experience, chantless magic will become second nature" instructed Andrea. Alec focused on what she said and began to ready the spell. But right as he was about to shout "fire", he felt the mana start rapidly draining from his right boob, which broke his concentration, causing him to botch the spell.
"Woah! Alec stop casting!" Shouted Vivian.
"Alec, end the spell! Quick!" Warned Andrea.
