Robin could tell that she would not be able to crawl out of the room before Morgan had a chance to do something else to her. 'Maybe I'll be able to distract,' she thought.
"Morgan, why? Why are you doing this?" she shouted at her sister.
Morgan stood up from her bed closing the book and walked over to Robin, towering over her. Looking into Robin's eyes she smirked. "Why? Because you always overshadow me. Miss popular, miss wonderfull. That condescending smile of yours and that smiling facade you trick everyone with are making me sick!" Robin couldn't understand what Morgan meant by that. Yes, she sometimes teased her sister, but kept it to only small things. She always worked on being genuine with the people around her, especially with her family. "So, I thought I will have some fun with you," continued Morgan matter-of-factly, "and maybe get you out of the way for a while...maybe even permanently."
Robin grew terrified and started to frantically claw her way away from her sister. Morgan quickly stomped on Robin's tailfin grinding the heel of her shoes in. Robin cried out in pain.
"Now now, where do you think you are going Robin?" Morgan put more of her weight on Robin's tail and then opened the book again. Robin started crying in fear. "Well, we can't have you leaving now, can we? Hmm, it was somewhere here..." Morgan started quickly leafing through the book again. After a moment she found where she was last and started reading the spell aloud. Robin tried to pull her fin from under Morgan, but before she could do more than twitch the spell was finished.
Morgan quickly stepped off of Robin's tailfin, while Robin clutched her sides in pain. The mermaids tail start to glow. The light quickly spread up Robin's sides, shining through her shirt, and up her back. Robin started thrashing on the floor, her breath coming in short quiet gasps. "Sis, what did you do?" she queried.
"Now, that is step one complete...is it breathing getting hard for you Robin? It should, you are a bit more of a fish now. You will need to get into water soon if you don't want to suffocate."
Robin's thrashing slowly subsided. She just lay there gasping as Morgan looked at her with a victorious smile. "So, Robin, here is a small choice for you. No matter what you choose I will use you as a guinea pig while I test out all these wonderful spells, just so you know. Anyway, you can be my pet fish or a little figurine. Well, choose quickly or I will choose for you."
Robin looked at Morgan in horror, just barelly managing to gasp out "What...do...you...?"
"Oh well. My choice it is." Smirked Morgan.
