Dan looked at his dark-green scaled dragon costume smiling. He thought about the last time he had worn it, but had not much recollection of it. As the costume hadn´t existed an hour ago, what he remembered was small fake memories. The only thing he quickly noticed were that the shoes of the costume, which would most likely be a bit to small for him, but he would try later. With a look on the clock he decided to do his homework, as it was still only three in the afternoon. Afterwards he played on his computer to kill some time.
Around six-thirty Dan started to change his clothes to the costume. So he stripped off everything beside his boxers and his socks. He slipped into the costumes pants, then pulled the long-sleeved hoodie over, tightening the belt to lock both in place together. But he had been right, the shoes were a bit to small, so sighing he slipped into his normal ones.
Placing the hood on his head he was finished. Only his hands and face were shown. He applied some green costume paint on the back of his hands, so they look fitting to his costume. A quick look at his alarm clock showed it was five minutes before seven, so he moved to the door and down to Kat's prepared party.
Kat herself didn´t need to wear a real costume, she had just cast an illusion around herself to look like she was wearing a cat costume, including everything from claws up to the painted on whiskers. Just as Dan came down the doorbell rings and she quickly opened the door. It was exactly seven, and everyone Dan had invited stood before her.
After they all were inside, all congratulating Kat on the way they even sung her “Happy Birthday”. She looked them all over. While Dan was a dragon, he was the only mythical creature in the room. Dan's best friend Aaron was a lion, his girlfriend Julia was a snake and Dan's girlfriend Miriam was a tiger. Various other animals stood around, from a mouse and a rat up to an elephant, monkeys and farm-animals were present. There were some fishes, a couple of reptiles and others as birds among them.
