While normally the human ponies would get their arms tied up all the time, Max had thought to add another option. Amputating the arms was also possible, but even if it could be done without any scars, Max decided against it. That was why in the end, Tony would keep his arms, just not as arms.
The surgeons removed a bit of Tony´s legs to shorten them, and added the removed parts to his arms instead. They reformed Tony´s arms into legs, front-legs to be exact, in the same length as his now shorter hind-legs.
Next, they worked on his hands and feet. As a pony, he would have hooves, not individual fingers or toes. For that the surgeons glued his toes together, making them completely immobile. Then they added fitting horse shoes under the soles, also glued permanently to Tony´s feet.
His fingers were bend in the middle, reaching their own base on his hands. His thumbs were placed across his palms, along the tips of the other fingers. Then the glue was added, so Tony would never move them in any way anymore. The horse shoes were added as well, keeping everything in place.
The horse shoes had the added effect to be uncomfortable when Tony would put his weight on them the wrong way, which would result in him gaining a straight walking and standing position.
Another small intervention “corrected” Tony´s spine from walking on two legs over to preferring walking on all fours, to keep him in his new position. His back was set straight, making riding him more comfortable for the rider. And he would just be strong enough to carry a rider if needed to.
Max grinned at the state Tony was in now, he was completely helpless, laying there naked. Max was ecstatic for Tony to wake up, seeing his reaction. But maybe some more changes should be made first.
