After the success of Darla’s arrow, the two cupids got to work, searching and shooting single and, in some cases, couples and groups worth of people through the entire night. While they didn’t tail every single person they hit, they did keep an eye on some of them, as one love struck young man nearly walked into a busy street because he wasn’t paying attention to his surroundings. Taylor ended up making some changes to ensure that Darwinism doesn’t end up taking these people – even if, looking at some of them, it may not have been the worst option available to some of them.
But – “Taylor, no.” – well, Taylor wasn’t in the mood to argue or do something like that, so instead they continued with their plan of bringing true love to people.
And boy was it paying off. Threesomes and such were definitely in, as they saw yet another group enter a polyamorous relationship after some or even in at least one situation got hit the arrows through the course of the night.
Sure, this may have ruined some existing relationships, but would a couple where one partner valued presentation and looks more then the other would really be happy in the long run? The end result of such unions never end well.
“Granted, this does sound like we’re helping some of these people cheat…” Maggie admitted as they saw yet another couple split and go to find their true love.
“Only in a technicality.” Taylor shrugged and shot at another couple, “Plus, it was kind of telling when that one guy went to a mirror and started making out with it.”
Maggie shuddered at that, “Blegh, don’t remind me. He didn’t even go to a personal one, but the one in a public bathroom…”
“Yeah…let’s try some of our teachers!”
“Why?”
“Like you haven’t heard the rumors of the love rhomb going on.” Taylor gave her a look.
“I try to forget those, not my business.” Maggie admits, but the idea is tempting, “Alright, let’s see what happens when our teachers want to find true love!”
