Fall Fads...

While the newest members of Animalia Ambassadoria had an, overall, successful first episode, there were a few consequences that were a little unexpected.

---

There was a mandatory meeting for Animalia Ambassadoria members, especially the newest members, a few weeks after their introductory episode. But why was a bit understandable.

"I've can guess you've gotten a lot more emails than you were used to after your episode?" asked the PR-MD agent who was waiting for them.

"Yeah," said Miles, "I've encountered some that seemed to be requests for advertising. I trashed those and emptied the trash bin."

"That's probably wise." said the agent, "while some of them are genuine offers from real organization, others are actually scammers trying to steal your information."

"I actually saw one of those." said Jen-Jen, "It was the old Instagram is encountering technical problems and your account might be deleted scam."

"Good," said the agent, "but there was a recent one that somehow hit our office. It was a phone call with a digital voice that said that iCloud was recently breached and you need to call a certain number to prevent your files from being deleted. The best way to find out about it is to check news outlets about such a 'breach' before calling the number. If there isn't such a news story, you were targeted by a potential scam."

One of the biggest stories that was both surprising and confusing was the online fundraiser that had gained $20 million toward a new Casino and Strip Club even though a guy named Adam, who had set up the online fundraiser, made it clear that he never intended it to be serious, rather like the Area 51 "raid". Both the federal and state government were baffled at how many people had wanted such a place in Dino City, despite Texas' laws on such things. But because of the popularity of both the fundraiser and the idea, it was decided to allow it for now, but keeping it under watch for the time being. But it did go down in history as one of the infamous "plans that really didn't go as expected.".

Another surprising thing, but not as important, was the arrival of Patrick Diamond's daughter in Dino City as well as her reunion with her father. It was a bit of a shocker for her to see her father's new Tyrannotitan form, but she didn't immediately reject him. What she was more concerned about was being in a new place seemingly without any familiar friends, which was actually a common fear for teens. While Patrick Diamond hadn't closed down his diamond business, he was supplementing it by hunting invasive wild pigs, which was paying meat-eating Dinotopians a surprising amount of money for this.

Probably the biggest thing going on in Lyre and Animalia are Brumation/Migration packages for reptile and bird Animalians "for the winter". These were surprisingly affordable travel packages to Animalia colonies in a warmer location, usually Mieni Atoll, Vilcabamba, Maelewano, New Zerzura, or Heiya Island (the most recent one, if not the warmest). While there were travel restrictions in place to deal with the pandemic, the ones offered by Animalia Air were seemingly more lax than others, but that didn't mean that there were no restrictions at all in place on Animalia Air flights. There was a mandatory isolation period before and after flight while they were examined/tested for Coronavirus.

The packages, however, compensated for this with a few extra things to help people/Animalians who purchase them enjoy their vacation to the fullest. For example, there was a booklet that helped people by raising awareness of common scams perpetrated on tourists. While no Animalians ever scammed tourists, there were those who tried to claim they were employees of Mieni Atoll, for example, and trying to either sell knock-off products or fake coupons.

Probably the most well known purchaser of one of these packages was Beatrice, who had purchased a "first date" package for herself and Henry. While the "first date" package was not unusual, what was unusual was the fact that Beatrice wasn't too happy that Henry was insisting on this, even though she had indicated (multiple times) that she was serious about being his bondmate, often complaining that "humans have the most unusual mating rituals".
