Vicky and Becky were probably the closest out of all the girls, and were the ones who shared the same room together while Drew and Gloria took the smaller single rooms. Vicky was sitting on her bed wrapping her arms around her legs saying "...I'm sorry I couldn't... really go any further last week."
Becky said "Don't worry, last week didn't happen. Besides I'm just trying to give you little nudges for your own good. It's all about the small steps and you've made so much progress compared to when we just met." Vicky remembered only being able to talk to Becky when it came to cartoons or games, and how much she just hated when Becky had tried to shove her into a dress. Now she was just some weird shy girl... progress for sure, but why should her aim be Drew? It would be so much easier to get closer if he was a puppy or kitten... or a girl at minimum. She could handle Gloria all right, but Drew just made her all nervous and unsure. The world seemed to rock back and forth as she remembered that she had gotten Drew thrown in the lake and now Vicky's heart was pounding. Was she worried about what Drew would do in retaliation? He didn't seem to be in the best of moods to start with and she just meant the sus as a jo- Vicky felt arms wrap around her torso keeping the world still and giving her a comforting squeeze.
Becky said "It was Gloria and I who threw Drew into the lake. It was just a joke that went a little overboard. Let's just calm down, would you like to just watch some anime while I brush your hair?"
Vicky very much wanted to go and do that, but she said "I think I'm calm enough... I'm going to go say sorry." Vicky then tried to get up, but found her bigger friend still hugging her.
Becky said "Are you calm?"
"Yes... I just don't want to procrastinate... did that last time, and I didn't get very far. I want to be his friend by the end of the week this time!" Becky let go and Vicky went out to the living room to find...
