It was a pretty late night, all that was on your mind was getting home and going to sleep. And sleep you did.
You went to sleep around 1am. You didn’t know how long you’d slept, but long enough that you felt drained from so much sleeping.
You rolled over, reaching over to grab your phone, but it wasn’t there. Maybe you’d misplaced it, but then it hit you, the table you usually your phone on, it was missing. You shot straight up, looking around. This wasn’t the room you fell asleep in.
It wasn’t too big or too small, somewhere in between both, an almost Goldilocks type size. One will had a closet on it, with a desk next to it, adjacent to that was your bed. At the foot of your bed was a pile of cardboard boxes. On that same wall, on the right side was a door. Thank god.
Lucky for you, you’d fallen asleep so quick that you hadn’t bothered to changed your clothes, so getting out of here should be easy enough, and you won’t look completely crazy. As you approach the door, you notice the desk, it was a book placed in the centre of it, and a lamp. Neither of which were open or turned on. But placed next to the book was a small key.
You didn’t think much of anything, all you wanted to do was get out.
You half expected to be locked in, but you weren’t, with a quick turn of the doorknob, the door opened wide.
