Checking the clock, six hours had passed. That left seventeen hours before exponential acceleration would get out of control and dollify all of humanity.
Doll One realized it wasn't that upset at that possibility. It loved being a Doll; it would never be hungry or tired, never age or get sick. The Doll rubbed it's ample tits and swooned with the sensation. The pleasure it felt wasn't necessarily sexual in nature, it was more akin to that of the worlds greatest massage amplified a thousandfold. Doll's plasticized skin had some give to it, but would quickly spring back into shape when released. It wrapped both arms around it's massive bust and pressed its muzzle into the deep cleavage.
Out of the corner of Doll One's eye, it saw the cascade timer reset. Not far away someone had just been Dolled, converted from a messy chaotic biologic to a clean, obedient plastic servant. The new timer was only eleven and a half minutes now.
Doll One considered it's situation. It was tempted to simply let the program run its course. The plastic vixen resumed fondling its tits and weighed options.
Deep in thought, Doll One didn't notice as the timer counted down and reset again, another Doll created. 11 minutes and 23 seconds on the clock as it began counting down again.
Doll One realized it had a deep seated need to serve, to be Owned. In its mind this was more than a word, it defined a different way of existing. At the same time, Lucas' personality surged forward and rebelled at being a mindless automaton. It wanted to be Owned but by a worthy Owner.
Digging into Lucas memories, Doll One realized what it craved was a lot like the submissive in certain unconventional relationships. It needed to be Owned and controlled, but also to be cared for and appreciated. A Doll would be unable to provide that, humanity would need to be saved. Well... at least some of it.
One of Lucas' friends and partners in the creation of the device might be of use. Maya had helped cobble together the control software, and might know a way to break the cascade programming - or at least slow it down.
