Admittedly, John had been looking forward to exploring this new world with his wife and the thought of going out on what could reasonably be considered an 'adventure' without her would be a little more heartless. Still, he didn't want to be cooped up in a stuffy hotel room at the moment; not when his mind was racing like it was. Maybe going down to the hotel's lounge and getting a drink would ease his nerves? If nothing else, it would take his mind of things.
Heading downstairs (this time taking the actual stairs just to be safe), John quickly found himself back reception. From there, it was just a matter of following the signs. Once again, a little overwhelmed, John thanked her silently before reading what all could be ordered at the bar only to quickly realize that it more of a question of what he COULDN'T order. The pamphlet operated on toon logic, seemingly having an endless number of pages and each page having what felt like hundreds of options. Many of which John had never heard of. Still, he had made it this far, he might as well order something.
Turning to a random page, John picked...
