"Sure thing!" Emma chuckled, relieved that her Uncle could take it from her. She was about to hand over the relic when a little voice arose beside her.
"Wait! I wanna hold it I wanna hold it!" Lexi called out, reaching up on her tippy toes towards the camera.
"Alexandra! That was very rude!" Gloria scolded, leaning down and pointing a disapproving finger at Lexi. Lexi held her arms behind her back and lowered her head, clearly embarrassed. "Sorry." She mumbled.
"Now, what do we say when we want something?" Gloria asked.
"Em, can I please have that?" Lexi meekly asked.
Emma tried not to giggle at how cute she was even though she was just trying to get what she wanted. Emma didn't say it, but she thought that Lexi was gonna be quite the heartbreaker when she got older.
"Well, I mean if she asked nicely, then like, why not." Emma laughed as she handed an excited Lexi the camera.
"Come on girl, we got dress shopping to do!" Rhianna called as she had already begun to walk away.
"Oh, sorry Rhi!" Emma called. "Like, by Auntie, by Uncle Justin, by Lexi, by little Tina!" She waved as she ran off.
"Humf, you think she'd at least give us a hug." Gloria scoffed.
Justin laughed, then gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Teenagers. What can you do?" He joked.
Justin started to walk away. Gloria readied to follow. She leaned down and kissed her abby on the forehead.
"You will still love your mommy as a teen, won't you Tina?" She whispered to her baby before standing back up to roll the stroller away. "Come now Lexi honey we still have some shopping to do. And be sure to not drop that camera it belongs to your Uncle." She warned as she started to walk behind Justin.
Lexi followed her parents, but her thoughts were on the camera she now held in her hand. She had seen this sorta old camera before in movies, and she remembered that it could actually print a picture out! She glanced up, just to make sure her parents weren't looking. Her mother was casually pushing the stroller along, and her father was talking to her beside her.
"Yay! Pictures pictures!" She squealed in her own head.
As the family strolled along, Lexi looked around for a possible photo opt. She saw a cute doggie walking next to a lady carrying a big stick. She thought that looked weird so she raised the camera and snapped a quick picture.
FLASH
The photo came out really quickly and she giggled. It showed the two boys in the middle of kissing.
"Hehe, I didn't know boys could kiss." She thought with a smile. "I'll show Daddy later."
They continued to walk, Justin and Gloria began chatting about their honeymoon while Lexi continued to search. Shen spotted one of her least favorite people, Benny. Benny Harrison was a mean bully with dirty brown hair, a crooked smile and a long neck. He always yanked on Lexi's pigtails and called her names.
"Ohh, I'll take a picture of him so I can draw all over it." She thought with a frown before raising the camera.
FLASH
Once more the photo popped out from the camera. Lexi smiled, happy she caught the shot so well. In it framed perfectly was Ms. Harrison, Lexi's teacher. Her pretty brown hair which was usually in a ponytail was let out, and her clothes were tight yoga pants and a loose top. Lexi giggled, realizing how funny it was to see a teacher out of school.
"I can't wait to show her I saw her on Monday." She thought. She wanted to say hi herself, but was too embarrassed.
