( so I'm assuming the transformative force is a
jinn/djinn/genie
sort of a rub the oil lamp and out comes a genie to give you 3 wishes kind of deal
According to Wikipedia a jinn is a Arabic supernatural creature
with a soul that has the appearance of
a animal ( such as Syrian desert cobra serprents or scorpions )
a dust storm
humans with animal features
Seems a lot of believers in jinn think they are responsible
for possession,mental illness and other human afflictions
Theres no mention of a jinn taking on the shape of a camera
but if you were a jinn that wanted to possess/make mentally ill/etc
going through human society as a camera might be the way to do it )
So there was Emma,staring at her friend Gabriella who was holding a 1980 vintage Polaroid camera.By 1980 the company had figured out how to automate the process somewhat and the 1980's
vintage machine used a DC motor and batteries to pop out the
colour photo from the film cassette you had to load the things
with.Press the shutter button and the motor did the rest.
So with dread Emma blinked after the FLASH and found herself
staring in astonishment at Gabriella,who was now holding a
late 1960s vintage LandCruiser model,which although they looked groovy didn't do anything automatically.
Gabriella and the other girls seemed unawares that Gabriella
had just taken a picture a few seconds earlier,let alone that
the 1980 camera had just turned itself into a 1967 groovy
looking Flower Power LandCruiser model with the black and white
manual operation film cassette.
Clearly the shape shifting camera wanted to tell Emma
something and she took the hint.
Puzzled Gabriella put the camera back on the nightstand and in a
flash Emma got up,walked over and picked up 'her' camera,scolded
Gabriella for misusing Emma's prized antique camera and bolted
out of that room and headed back to her own house.
Once away from prying eyes Emma pulled slowly on the pull tab
stcking out of the film cassette,which caused the rollers to
distribute developer fluid on the paper film and counted
down a minute before she peeled away the protective
sheet,revealing the black and white photo ,,,,,
