Carl wrote, “Mom is back to normal and she and Lily don’t remember it or the pen.”
Instantly Sarah was standing nearby, the playpen and baby clothes gone. She asked Carl, “What are you writing, kiddo?”
“Oh, just a reminder to do my homework,” Carl said nonchalantly.
“Ok, well you’d better get on it,” she told him.
Carl ran to his room and shut the door. He found a piece of paper and wrote, “My homework is done completely and perfectly.” He sifted through his math homework and saw there was work written everywhere, in his own handwriting!
Next, Carl wrote, “I have always been a straight A student.” Memories filled his head of being the top performer in his class.
Carl had never been a huge fan of his name. It sounded bland and boring to him. So he wrote, “I was born with the name Liam.” Now he recalled that being his name.
Liam now decided he wanted to be older. He wrote, “I am 16 years old.” Suddenly he shot up until he surpassed 6 feet, but he remained gangly and thin. His face matured somewhat, and his Adam’s apple grew, but acne broke out all over his face.
