"...and their. that dose it" 13 year old Ashley whispered after successfully and silently breaking the chain-lock of this motor-boat by the docks with just her torch and both halves of a snapped hairpin "sorry so-called 'loving' aunt Marie but no way am I acting as your tool in underage marriage for 'restoring' your gambled off fortune".
After checking nothing had fallen out of her backpack and travel bag (two spare changes of clothing, about 300 in physical money, a few sandwiches and crisps packets, a 4 pint bottle of milk, a pew cans of soda and a cool pack) Ashley put her thinks into the boat before jumping in herself. not bothering to check her tatty faded baggy jeans, purple jacket, light-purple undershirt or purple trainers for dirt before using a rowing oar to push herself out to sea so as to avoid waking someone up around the docks...
...her mind still flashing back to what motivated her recent crimes;
"THIS IS BOTH INSANE AND ILLEGAL" Ashley protested while messing her shoulder-length brown hair as she forced this unwanted wedding dress of her body. "Ashley the only crimes in all this is that rotten grandfather's clorse barring my rightful access to my money and those criminals calling themselves debt collectors looting my home and the police refusing to do something about it" Ashley's botox obsessed aunt in her 50s aunt Marie countered nasty-like. "those collectors were here over your debts. debts racked up from all that spending without an income to counterbalance it" Ashley argued before storming off to her room.
"we'll see what those dirty cops and those fakes claim after Matthew gets involved after the wedding" Marie then announced as she followed. "to you you mean, for funk sake he's in his mid 40s and also by the way under investigation for mass toxic dumping" Ashley insisted. "he especially asked for you Ashley, no one else. besides how else do you expect to get rid of the by-product of his work?" Marie questioned. "switch to more eco friendly material making" Ashley answered. "least the clean cops he worked with fred him of that misplaced blame and charged that so-called professor Milton at least. stop filling your old classmates heads with bilge" Marie then announced.
"...what?" Ashley muttered in shock. "you heard... that phoney environmentalists teacher of yours, thanks to truthful statements I led in getting, is now facing heavy prison time for his crimes" Marie answered proudly "besides what Matthew does helps not harms the planet, would is actually much better lacking all that disgusting number of coral and trees". "He just became a father. how could you?" Ashley protested. "well his wife if she knew logic from delusion will be dumping him... now this wedding is happening and it's all within law" Marie answered arrogantly.
back to the present;
"no it's not... just wish I could see your ugly face next year or after when dirty old Matthew turns on you" Ashley then said after starting the engine "still... I need to pinpoint a good hiding place that'll last to my supplies or a different town sea patrol finds me". but Ashley hadn't noticed her boat was heading towards a recently appeared Island...
...not until she finally turned around after the lights from town were to faded to see, "DAMN" Ashley cursed upon seeing the Island "where did that come from... and what's with that mountain?". but as she looked on, from below Ashley was being watched by something or someone under the water. "...well whatever, better then a dead boat by the next night" Ashley then accepted as she headed toward the Island.
After docking the stolen motor boat "wired... this island's more a massive series of flats than an landmass... but that mountain surely means island... best check for a cave to setup camp" Ashley self-suggested as she headed off, unaware what was soon to happen:
