"What I want is to get on with this. Let's try to figure out what girls like in you, alright?"
"Sure," David said, Paul nodding along with him. She looked them over, taking them in, experimented with them saying things to her, and... nothing. After about 20 minutes, she sighed.
"This isn't working," Sam said. "Maybe it's because I'm not really a girl? I don't know what to look for or what I like or anything."
"That makes sense," David said.
"Whatever, it was a dumb idea anyway. I'm gonna go to the bathroom and then we can change me back and figure out something else to do." Sam went down the hall, and Paul slapped David's shoulder.
"I think we should make some more changes to Sam, make her think she's always been a girl."
"Why?" David asked.
"Cause then she'll know what she likes, right? That's the problem we're running into."
David looked from Paul toward the bathroom, then sighed. "Okay, do it. Hurry. I'll try to keep her busy if she comes back too quick."
With that, Paul headed back into the bedroom and booted up the Chronivac, switching Sam's awareness of her changes to off. Then, he looked over the other options. He had to admit Sam wasn't exactly a knockout, and her attitude was pretty much the same as when she was a guy. If he changed her body and her personality, they could feasibly get the types of girls they were really interested in.
