The Magic Shop

Twins come over to either play or exploit the magic or both after seeing her regress.

Mabel began to absentmindedly suck in her new paci, wondering why everything looked so much "biggerer" all of the sudden. As the proverbial wheels in her now regressed mind slowly began to turn, a twin pair of brown haired toddlers, one boy, one girl, start to run toward the bench, both in matching blue overalls with different colored t-shirts with different licensed Disney® characters printed on each (the boy has a dark blue Big Hero 6 shirt with Baymax in red armor, that doesn't quite blend in with the lighter blue overalls, and the girl has a purple Tangled The Series shirt with Rapunzel holding a frying pan and Pascal on her shoulder as her brown-haired bodyguard from that show stands with her arms crossed in the background), their blue and pink patterned light up shoes sparking in green, red, and blue colors with every step they took as they run towards a new playmate.

The boys hair was long and reached just beneath the nape of his neck and the girls was tied into a short braid on the right side of her head, sticks, sand, and bits of dirt clinging to the messy thing. They both had "twinship" bracelets on that they created (with Mabel's adult guidance and supervision) during arts and crafts time earlier that week at the daycare. On their bracelets were their names, Scott and Jean (they're legal guardians, an aunt and uncle, are huge nerds in their mid 20's), Scott's was on his right wrist facing Jean's on her left wrist, each with a red plastic half-heart that was slightly bigger than the rest of the plastic braids so they could easily fit both pieces together when the wanted play "super twin team". Each of them was carrying two stuffed animals (which they, and other kids their age would sometimes call "stuffies"), one for each little arm, and each twin would have a smaller one partially filled with plastics "beans" and a larger one which would be slightly bigger than the length of their heads and necks.

Scott carried small plush of an indie comics character, an anthro rabbit samurai wearing blue robes with two swords sheathed at both sides of his legs, despite his serious profession as vagabond samurai for hire he boasts a light happy smile, and his ears tied at the base of his long bunny ears so that it juts out on the very tip-top of his head without them flopping around and blocking his sight. Despite his little "You-saw-gee" being one of his favorite "action stuffies" he knows little to nothing about his comics backstory because his guardians want to wait until he is either 4 or 5 to read him the all-ages action comics he is from due to the often serious themes and bloodless death and carnage that persisted throughout the comics nearly 30 year run under various indie publications. His larger stuffed animal was a teddy bear made to look like a teddy bear version of certain red and black spider-powered superhero with a hoodie. Jean had small chibi plush of a certain space captain superhero that wears a blue bodysuit with a star that has red lines that goes past her shoulders, her face a perpetual cocky smirk that seems to say "Yeah, I'm a strong female protagonist, got a problem with that!?" And larger teddy bear dressed in the yellow ballroom gown of a certain bookworm Disney® princess, complete with a detachable open book you can place over the Velcro straps above her left paw ( you can probably guess what custom make-a-toy store their guardians will occasionally take them to by now, I hope).

The twins could barely contain themselves as they excitedly jumped up and down while they shouted a barrage of probing, repetitive, questions at their newly regressed pseudo-teacher turned toddler. "MISS MABEL ARE YEW MAGIC!!?". " ARE YEW A GEEENIEEE!? ". "CAN YEW GRANT WISHES!?". " DO YA LIVE IN A LAMP!? ". "ARE YEW A MAGICAL FAIRY PRINCESS!?". " WHY'D YA GET LITTLE LIKE US!? ". "DO YEW WANNA PLAY ON DA SWINGS!?". " DO YA WANNA SPIN ON TH' BIG WHEEEEEL!?" "DO YA WANNA PLAY ON THE MONKEY BARS!?" "CAN YA TURN IS IN TO MONKEEEES!?" " CAN YA MAKE IS STWONG GUYS!? " " CAN YA MAKE US SUPERHEROES!? ". " CAN YA MAKE US FAIRY'S!?". "CAN YA MAKE US GENIES!?" "CAN YA MAKE IS MAGIC LIKE YEW!?". " CAN YA BRING OUR STUFFIES TA LIFE!? ". "CAN YA MAKE US BIG KIDS!?". " CAN WE BE POKE-MEN MONSTER TWAINERS!? ". "WHY AWE YEW JUST SITTIN' THERE!?", they both shout out in a bizarre moment of twin synchronicity.
