Sam was so enthralled by his body, flexing for the mirror, that he forgot about the time. When he finally checked his watch, he screamed “SHIT!” He was late for school!
“LINUS!” Sam called for his little brother as he hurriedly threw his things together and made a mad dash for his car. It was a little puddle-jumper of a car, nothing special. With a hurried wish, Sam turned it into a beautiful red Maserati. He climbed in and put on his cool sunglasses.
Linus came running out of the house and quickly jumped into the passenger seat. Sam took off, first dropping Linus off at middle school, then heading for his own high school.
Sam, walking into the building, realized he still had some good time, so he walked to his locker, clipping his sunglasses to the V of his tight V-neck shirt. He got looks as he made his way through the halls, but none were of surprise, only desire or envy.
Sam eventually took his seat in his first hour class, English. He looked around the room at his classmates, some of whom he thought could use a change. There was Carter, a tan but slightly chubby blond boy; George, a skinny nerd with glasses and curly black hair who’d skipped two grades; Drew, a tall boy with soft brown hair and a very slim build; and Hunter, a pale boy with black hair who seemed pretty emo and kept to himself.
There was also the teacher, a guy fresh out of college named Ander Stavros. Not many of his students respected him, because they were bigger and taller. He was fairly handsome with his Mediterranean complexion, but short and small. Due to a lack of others available, he’d also been asked to be the assistant football coach, despite a lack of experience.
