Isaac was an average boy on his way from school. At 15, he was 5’8” tall, pale, skinny, with messy brown hair, and weighing about 130 pounds. He was wearing a baggy black shirt and khaki shorts, and he was tired from a long day of school.
As he passed the museum, he saw a commotion on the front steps. It looked like two men were struggling. Something dropped to the ground and emitted a purple ray of light, which flashed all the way across the street, hitting Isaac.
Isaac froze, but he felt nothing. An officer rushed over to him, asking, “Kid, are you okay?”
“Yeah,” he replied, but curious, he asked, “What was that?”
The officer explained, then said, “Since you seem to be unaffected, it looks like everything is all right. You can go home.”
“Thanks!” Isaac said.
He headed home and went through his evening routine: eating dinner, doing homework, helping his younger brothers with their homework, relaxing with his family.
When he climbed into the shower before bed, he noticed what looked like a faint trace of abs. He supposed it was from the core exercises he had to do in P.E. weight room. But his arms looked a little bigger too, and he didn’t think his pecs ever jutted out. Oh well, he thought. He finished washing up and went to bed.
