"Um, sure Dad." He replied, half paying attention as he grabbed the red dress and folded it in his arm. His eyes were still fixed on the camera. Oliver figured that the only way he'd get this weird feeling out of his head was to test out the camera. Maybe there would be something with the camera which would've spooked him as a baby?
He flipped the camera around, found what should be the button to take the shot, then closed his eyes.
FLASH
Olivia opened her eyes and found nothing amiss. She was still holding the camera, and everything seemed to go off as planned. There was no freaky noises or anything, just a normal flash, and there's no way that could have scared her enough to have caused her to dream about the thing.
The photo popped out, and she examined it quickly. It showed her normal self with her eyes closed tightly shut. She had her shoulder length, curly blonde hair, her favorite pink hoodie on, and her sweatpants for a chill Weekend day playing animal crossing. She still thought the picture looked gross, so she quickly hid it away deep in one of the boxes.
"Hey, what you got there?" He father asked her.
"Oh just some old camera thing I found... it just reminded me of something." She chuckled, embarrassed to be taking selfies.
"Ha, well if you want to keep that too you can." Her father laughed.
"Daddy, are you sure I can keep the dress? It's way to big for me... maybe Mom or Becca would like lit better? She asked.
Her father was annoyed whenever Olivia trash talked herself. Olivia was a cute bright girl, but was nerdy, and thanks to an eccentric mother and a bit of a diva sister, she had her hang ups. So he tried to make her feel special whenever he could.
"Hey now Liv, you'll grow into it. Besides, you're turning 14 in a few months, so you'll wanna get ready when all those boys are knocking down your door." He chuckled.
"Oh my God Dad shut up." Olivia half chuckled half blushed.
"Now, why don't you bring that stuff downstairs and then come help some more. You've been working with me all morning after all." He replied.
"Ok." She meekly said before trudging quickly down the ladder.
As she walked to her room, she passed by her sister's door which was open again, and was still in the process of straightening her hair.
"Woah, where'd that come from?" She asked.
"It's an old dress of Mom's that Dad gave to me." Olivia responded.
"Ugh, you're not even ready for a dress like that! Let me look at it." She demanded, standing up.
"No! If you don't, maybe Brad would like to see half ready Becca?" She warned.
"You wouldn't dare." Becca growled as Olivia held the camera up.
FLASH
Olivia suddenly blinked, trying to remember what she was just talking about. She turned over to see....
