Tony Yang didn't exactly feel comfortable in a suit. He was more of a jeans and t-shirt guy. Quite a contrast with his date, who was to be quite honest, the prettiest girl he had ever seen. The idea that his videogame buddy Dustin had emerged as this beautiful butterfly Darla was the kind of thing that made him think magic was real.
Darla was already feeling the magic. There was something that made her feel so beautiful and so very feminine. Ordinarily, those remaining parts and aspects of her body that were still male were a constant annoyance, but now she barely felt them at all. Her feet moved with an amazing lightness and grace as she danced with Tony, a surprisingly good dancer himself. She somehow connected this feeling with the jewelry she was wearing.
Ivy felt that there was a kind of beauty and femininity emanating from her and her companions and being received by the person she was wearing. It felt oddly satisfying.
"You wanna go make out?" said Tony as people were starting to leave.
"That sounds great" said Darla.
