After most of the green fluid has been absorbed into your body, you start to feel weird things happening inside you. You start to feel like your skin doesn't quite feel right. You start to feel an almost painful pressure build up in your toes and fingers. You shiver and squirm, wondering whether you should have asked the aliens to transform you after all.
Then all at once, long, sharp daggers burst out from both your hands and your feet. Claws! Your very own strong, thick claws! You look over your extremities in wonder at the fearsome natural weaponry you now possess.
"Cool!" you blurt out.
Then your jaws start to ache, and your nose starts to push forward and widen. Your nostrils expand, roughen and moisten, and your nose gets much more sensitive. All you can smell right now, though, is sanitized metal except for the hairy and sweaty sent of your own body. Your mouth and nose both lengthen outward until you can see a long, mighty muzzle poking out in front of you. A dull ache in your teeth makes you hope their getting stronger and sharper as well, and this thought makes you (very carefully!) put your hand into your mouth. Your right! You can feel long, LONG canines in the forward regions of your snout, and you can also feel with your tongue that your hand has changed, too: the underside is flatter and rougher, so you look down at your other hand to marvel at the broad, bestial paw it's now become. Your palm is basically one giant black pad, and each of your five fingers is like a big round toe with a nice protective pad of its own. It makes your claws look even more fitting!
As you've been sitting on the medical table, you have started to expand, and now you notice that it seems uncomfortable too small to sit on. You get down onto all fours and take your weight onto your large, padded paws. It feels great, and it entirely blows your mind that your legs (your HIND legs) can finally take some of your weight for the first time in your life. You take a step forward and feel them MOVE. No more dumb wheelchair for you!
In fact, even though you're turning into an animal, you find you can actually stand up! And when you do, you just tower over the height you would have reached as a human. You have to be careful not to hit your head on the ceiling.
At last, you see (and smell!) a bunch of new and different, deep brown hairs sprouting out of your whole torso. It starts to spread all over you, to your hands and your head. They just keep getting longer, and they keep growing in thicker, until you can't even see your bare skin anymore. You've got fur! Long, shaggy fur, like a certain animal of your current size and configuration. You let out a loud, triumphant roar, thrilled at the mighty creature you've become. We wish you could still talk to thank the aliens. They've turned you into a bear!
