Throughout the world, every ancient religion of animals had one. A Mad Lagomorph God. The Mayans Patron deity of scribes was a Mad Hare. The Algonquin had The twin Hares Manabozo and Nanabozo. In Africa there was the spirit of the Hare. They are all one and the same God. He travelled the world causing mayhem with his powers of chaos and transformation.
He has more recently been seen by Lewis Carrol, who re-immortalized him as the March Hare in his classic Alice in Wonderland. Nowadays he still messes with mortals. Just not so much as you'd notice. But things are about to change.
