There I was at a local restaurant who had hired me to install a new magical freezer. Thankfully for me I didn't need to rip out the entire freezer and the cooling system. They'd just shut that off as the new magical freezer was a box I just needed to install into the freezer and then it would magically chill everything. The restaurant had to close down for the day, but they figured that since they were running low on food in the freezer anyways that now would be a good time to install something that would cut down on their electricity bill. It should've been simple, and the instillation itself was simple... Then once I got it all good, secured, and the mechanisms ready I was about to head out of the freezer to tell the owner that it should be ready to give a test... Then the blasted thing decided to go off and spewed out really cold wind.
The biting cold felt like they blew threw me chilling me to my bones. I quickly ran to grab my tool box, and then went to the freezer door.
Good new was that the door wasn't locked, but the bad news is that the cold wind that was currently coating my limbs with frost managed to freeze the door shut... If the door was just locked I probably could've done something about the lock, but trying to use my hammer to the ice only did so much. A few swings and I determined that it would be hopeless to try to force my way out, and decided to try to keep as warm as I could... Looking to the ice magic box I went next to it and felt the box and... Well it was entirely cold, right this freezer was magic and wasn't using energy that would heat up the machine... I huddled myself in a corner and tried to conserve my heat, but who was I kidding... blasted magic was going to freeze me to death... A few minutes later I started to feel warm and sleepy... Well if I die may as well die in my sleep right?
*Bang* *Bang* *Bang* I was awoken as something was trying to knock the freezer door open, and noticed that there wasn't any cold wind blowing anymore... and it wasn't cold? The door gave way, and there seemed to be some emergency workers of some sort. One saw me and came up and asked me something... The emergency worker probably saw that I was alive, and shaking off whatever daze I was in I attempted to get myself off the ground... but my body felt pretty... rigid? The emergency worker leant me a hand and in trying to pull me up the emergency worker seemed to have tripped backwards? My senses were kind of dull at the moment, but looking at my arm... It was incredibly pale and my hand seemed to have been pulled off.
By the time I got out of the freezer I noticed that the room outside seemed rather warm. They managed to put my hand back on by just... putting it on and mushing the halves together a bit. I was able to move it so it seemed to work. One of the workers looking through some sort of database declared that I was a "snow person". Technically the japanese name would be Yuki-Onna, but then again they seemed to be more ghostly and I had a rather solid body... that was made of snow. I seemed to medically be alright... well as medically alright as your entire body being made of snow was, and let me go. I wasn't thinking quite clearly, but my dad was let known about the situation and came to pick me up. Thankfully for him my body came with a little illusion magic. While my hair, eyes, etc. were snow they seem to be perceived as my natural coloration... although my skin was pure white... Feeling drained in the car I let myself doze off... when I woke again I found myself...
