Dustin finally falls asleep. As silently as possible, Laura grabs her bag with the dice in it off the nearby end table, then climbs down from the crib. She lands on the floor. For once, she’s glad to be wearing such a thick diaper, as it muffles the noise of her fall. Still, she remains silent and listens for Jessica and Charlie. Nothing happens.
The trip to the front door is daunting for Laura, so young and in the dark. After prying open the door as quietly as she can, she is faced with the horror of a staircase. She crawls down the steps slowly and carefully. On the way, she lets out a small fart. Laura grimaces. She has a feeling what that means.
Sure enough, once she reaches the bottom of the stairs, her bowels empty into her diaper. She’ll need a change once she leaves. Hopefully, she still has a few spare diapers in her bag.
Laura waddles over to the front door. She can’t reach the handle, but she doesn’t need to. There’s a doggy door. And she’s just small enough to squeeze through. Though it does cause the mess in her diaper to smear further.
Outside, Laura sets off, trying to put as much distance as possible between her and the house she just escaped from. Once she feels that she’s far enough to stop, she plops onto the ground and opens her bag, looking for a fresh diaper to change into.
