We're a two headed body right?" Jack asked. He wanted to get straight to the point, and he knew Carter wouldn't try to play any games.
"Yes." Carter responded and he started to get dressed.
"We were born like this?"
"Yes." Carter repeated.
"How?" Teddy finally jumped in.
Carter gave the pair a funny look, "What do you mean? You guys were there for sex-ed in school."
"No, I mean. How was this even possible?" Teddy sat himself on the bed with Jack. "How do we have two heads?"
"How should I know?" Carter slipped on a shirt and came over and sat with Teddy and Jack. "Are you guys ok? What's going on? You've never asked this kind of thing before."
"Carter," Jack sounded a little irritated, "You and Teddy are twins right?"
"Yes." Carter sighed, "How many times do I have to say it."
"Identical twins, right?"
"Right..."
"But I'm not related to you. Either of you." Jack rubbed his forehead. "Then how could, me and Teddy be born like this? It doesn't make sense."
"I... I don't know." Carter closed his eyes tightly.
"Exactly! Carter, you and me must have split apart before we were born to be identical." Teddy said, "And Jack has different parents, and a different birthday than us."
"I... you guys... and," Carter put both hand on his head. He stood up and started walking around the room. "You and JAck... always been..." Carter dropped to his knees and screamed in pain. He fell backwards and laid on the floor. The room was spinning and he felt like he had thrown up. When he looked up, he could see Teddy and Jack really close to each other and kneeling beside him.
"Carter, are you ok?" Teddy asked with concern.
"Yeah. I'm ok. What happened?" Carter sat up and rubbed his eyes. He took another look at Teddy and Jack and saw they weren't kneeling really close together. Instead their heads were on the same body! "AH!" Carter fell back on the floor, and pushed himself away from the conjoined pair. He had a shaking finger pointed at both of them, "What... What the hell?! What the hell happened?!"
"Carter calm down!" Eddy dragged Jack closer to where Carter lay. He put his hand on Carter's shoulder. "Please... I need your help. We both do." Carter took a few deep breaths and nodded. "What's the last thing you remember?"
"You uh, went over to Jack's." Carter stood up and watched Jack and Teddy stand in the same body. He paused for a minute then continued. "I went to have a shower, I came out, and then... then... I was laying there looking up at you."
"So he thought this was normal too then." Jack turned to Teddy. "I don't get it. It must be something to do with the suit."
"Ya, but how do we take it off." Teddy sighed.
"What suit?" Carter asked.
Jack and Teddy glanced at each other, then Jack started to explain, "...And now everyone thinks we were born like this or something."
All three of them stood around, thinking about what to do next, and it was Carter who spoke up first. "Maybe there's some clue back at your place." They all agreed and headed back to Jack's.
