The night ended without any more hitches. The two were so exhausted from the fight that it didn't matter too much how they slept. Once they settled, both were out in minutes. In fact they slept so well that they didn't even hear Jack's alarm go off. Cole yelled from behind the bedroom's closed door. "JACK! TEDDY! GET UP! You'll be late for school!"
Groggy, the two sat up and each used their arm to rub the sleep from their eyes. They were momentarily stunned to see each other, and so close. But the events from last night, the suit, fight; all the memories flashed back. "Well at least we slept a good chunk of the hours away. Now we just have to make it through school." He glanced at the clock on his night stand and instantly made them jump to their feet. "CRAP!" Jack exclaimed. It was already 8:20 in the morning which meant school started in 40 minutes. Thank goodness it was late start Tuesday.
Teddy and Jack both tried to control the legs, and nearly tripped. "Let me drive." Teddy said as he walked them over to the bathroom. Working somewhat together, they stripped down and put their dirty clothes in the hamper. Leaning back up, they caught an image of themselves in the mirror. Their body was still pretty battered, a reminder that arguments would have to be settled some other way.
The shower itself didn't take to long, even with their lack of coordination. The two were back in Jack's room with a towel around their waist in no time at all. They quickly slipped on a pair of boxers and jeans and started browsing through all the shirts they had. All were custom tailored to fit both of their heads. With a brief discussion, they decided on a plain white shirt with a two-headed stick-man like label on front.
Jack took control and lead them into the kitchen to grab a quick breakfast; his mom was nice enough to leave a toasted pop tart out for them to grab. Teddy snatched it, handing half of it to Jack. As they rushed to the front door, Cole ambushed them. "Boys!" he looked and sounded like he didn't get any sleep last night. "We need to talk when you get back home from school, all of us. I already called your family Teddy, and they are also concerned with the huge fight you guys had. I want you guys to be back here at 4:00 sharp; no hanging out after school. Understand?" Jack and Teddy had stuffed their pop tarts into their mouths so they didn't have to talk. They just nodded and slipped outside.
