Leah’s embarrassed to be standing in a daycare wearing only a diaper. Luckily, her shirt isn’t wet, so she slips it on. For a moment, she waffles, debating what to do. Then, she catches sight of her reflection. She looks exactly like someone who should be attending the daycare.
“I can’t be in here,” Leah mumbles to herself. She takes out her phone and texts Tina, saying that she’ll wait in the car, then leaves the daycare. It’s slow going at first, as the thickness of her diaper restricts her movement to a toddle. But she manages to get outside and into the car.
When she sees the car seat Tina keeps for work emergencies, Leah has an abrupt realization. She looks like she needs to be in the car seat. She sighs softly, but climbs into the car seat and buckles herself in. The car seat is surprisingly comfortable, and, before she knows it, Leah has fallen asleep.
