After thinking it over carefully, Kaitlin takes her thumb out of her mouth and responds to Laura.
"Okay, I'll help you get out of here. But on one condition." Kaitlin responds to Laura.
"Condition? What do you mean?" Laura asks Kaitlin.
"I'll help you, if you stay as my playmate for a week." Kaitlin tells Laura
"What do you mean by that?" Laura asks Kaitlin
"You see, ever since I became a 2-year-old toddler, I've been having a great time. Yesterday I spent all day playing and doing different activities. And if you behave very well they give you to eat apple pudding and chocolate milk. But my favorite part was nap time. They tell you a story while playing a beautiful lullaby to sleep. And when you fall asleep, you feel as if you are lying in the most comfortable bed in the world. After all this, it made me rethink whether I really wanted to go back to my original age right now. And that is why I want you to stay with me for a few days as a toddler. That way we could both play all day and we wouldn't have to worry about anything. But if you don't want to stay with me, I will respect your decision but I would like to stay as a toddler for the moment."
After hearing Kaitlin's explanation, Laura began to wonder if it was really a good idea to stay as a toddler for a few more days. On the one hand, she would have someone to accompany her and throughout the day she could do whatever she wanted. But, on the downside, she wouldn't stand being treated like a baby and having to put up with the constant diaper changes, baby food, and extremely childish clothes (Things Kaitlin is probably used to by now).
"So what is your decision" Kaitlin asks Laura.
