..monkey" Jenkins revealed after a slight dramatic pause.
"A monkey?" Christina repeated. It seemed like an unusual kind of animal to have as a pet.
"A Rhesus Macaques to be precise" Jenkins nodded "They are commonly used in the circus. Undress please!"
"I'm not going to be in the circus am I?" Christina worried as she pulled off her T-shirt. She had dressed more casually today seeing as clothing really wasn't required in this line of work.
"I wouldn't give you this assignment if I didn't think you were more than capable of carrying it out successfully" Jenkins smiled reassuringly.
"But I don't even know what a circus monkey does, really" Christina worried as she placed the last of her clothing on the chair next to her and stood naked in front of her employer again.
"Don't fret about that. You'll be trained this morning and won't have to perform until the afternoon" Jenkins explained without any apparent concern "There will be a second performance in the early evening so you will probably be back here a little later than your usual finish time, but you'll be well compensated for it"
"I'm just a little concerned that I.." Christina began, but Jenkins placed his finger to his lips to silence her before she could finish the thought.
"Please stand still and remain silent for a few moments" the magical shop owner asked as he came and stood in front of the naked girl again "We need to prepare you for your role"
Christina felt an overwhelming sense of nervous anticipation as she looked into Jenkins eyes and, sure enough, before long she could feel herself changing again.
This transformation felt a little less dramatic then when she had become a cat, but the changes to her body were still significant and highly unsettling. She felt herself shrinking again, though not by so much as before. She remained on two feet as well, though quickly found herself settling into a more comfortable squatting position with her knuckles resting on the ground in front of her. The hair rapidly growing across her body and the tail sprouting from above her butt were familiar sensations from the previous day, but not something she could easily get used to.
Christina's face was quickly reshaping too, ,though again not so much as it did the last time she was transformed, her jaw jutting out and her features seeming to stretch. Before long, the changes stopped.
"There, perfect!" Jenkins clapped his hands in approval at the perfectly formed monkey crouching in front of him. It would be impossible to tell that Christina hadn't been born that way or was any different from the rest of her current species "are you ready for the big performance?"
Christina answered in a series of grunts and shrieks which were the only sounds she seemed able to make now. She hated that Jenkins talked to her more when she was an animal than he did when she was a human. It almost felt like he was mocking her.
"Glad to hear it" Jenkins smirked, further playing into Christina's suspicions "You're trainer should be here to pick you up any moment now. I know you'll do Pets 4 You proud!"
