As the luck would have it. The stopwatch suddenly stops itself. Maggie continues to lie on the sofa with her huge stomach. While Lisa is still inside her stomach.
Then out of blue Lisa remembers one thing about the clock.
'When the countdown reaches into newborn stage, the Self-Regression Function will deactivate at will leaving the subject forever be as a newborn.', as it said on the instruction with the clock.
Meaning that Lisa can't seize to exist if she would have no-one to regress onto. It just now meant one thing. Lisa knew that she was constanly in a zero state which tried to make her birthday the date she was living. Which meant that it had to automatically activate the second option.
'When him/her reaches into newborn age, A Mother or Father will continue using this function.'
Which logically would mean one thing. Since the clock couldn't logically function further, it had to the next thing.
'OH SHI-', Lisa thought and felt pulling motion dragging her somewhere like a vacuum. With a blink of an eye Lisa experienced everything what had just happened. Coming home, car ride, her mother unbirthing her, being inside the mall, faking period all of this was reversed in a moment.
She was now on her room. Back again. As her normal self before this ordeal started.
Then she heard a hard knock on the door.
"Lisa I need you for something. Can you come downstairs?"
It was Maggie, her mother. Lisa now quickly stopped the watch while double checking if it ran.
"If it's about going in to shopping. I am not feeling that well. Thanks for asking, but I am busy doing school work!" Lisa yelled from top of her lungs.
Then there was a long silence.
Lisa heard front door slamming and guessed that it was her mother. Then quickly sealed the clock inside her jewelry box so no-one could mess with the time again. Lisa felt happy how things were. More relieved than anything. In her mind she thought that if something else have had happened she might not be here. As such, she decided to leave time as it is and if she ever wanted to mess with anything. She would think twice about the small time conundrum what she experienced.
Then again, what if....
