“This is Leah,” Tina said. “She’s my toddler stepdaughter.”
“I thought your stepdaughter was a teenager,” the receptionist said, confused. Tina laughed.
“Oh, she sometimes acts like one, and she’s very smart for her age, but no, she’s still a little girl.” Tina patted Leah’s diapered butt. “If she was a teenager, she wouldn’t need one of these.” The receptionist chuckled.
“You’re right. I must have misremembered. Well, what’s the occasion that you’re bringing her here?”
“She has a different daycare she goes to, but since I’d get a discount having her here, we’re testing this daycare for a while. If it works out well, we’ll switch daycares,” Tina said. Leah felt excitement surge through her. She was going to make sure it did work well, and that she switched from high school to daycare. All she needed to do was make it seem like that was what she needed.
After checking Leah in, Tina dropped her off in the main play area, promising to return. She had to go do some other tasks before taking her regular position as one of the people supervising toddlers. The other toddler supervisor, whose nametag read “Julie”, came over to Leah.
“Hi! Do you want something to cover that diapy?” she asked. Leah sat down on the ground, happy about the cushioning her diaper provided.
“No!” she said firmly. She put her thumb in her mouth and began to suck on it. Tina came back.
“Your stepdaughter wants to go around in just her diapy and shirt,” Julie informed Tina, before walking over to check on a little boy squatting in the corner. Tina frowned at Leah.
“You don’t want anything to cover that diaper? You’ll pull off being a toddler even if you have pants or a skirt on. After all, diapers are pretty obvious even when you have bottoms over them.”
“Well, you said that you needed easy access in case I needed another change,” Leah said, her thumb still in her mouth. Tina sighed.
“Yes, but- why are you sucking on your thumb? Julie’s gone.”
“What?” Leah feigned surprise. She took her thumb out of her mouth and stared at it. “I had no idea!” she lied. Tina frowned thoughtfully. Seizing the opportunity to further infantilize herself, Leah got into a squat and peed her diaper.
“And you’re peeing again,” Tina sighed. Leah again pretended she hadn’t noticed. Tina stuck a finger down the back of her diaper. “But you don’t need a change yet. Go play with the toddlers, I’m going to make a call.” Leah walked away, exaggerating the toddle caused by her thick diaper.
Tina took out her phone. She needed make a call about this situation with Leah, who seemed to be getting more and more babyish.
