“Leah, my fifteen-year-old stepdaughter,” Tina replied. Leah stared at Tina, horrified. She was excited to attend daycare, but as a toddler, not a teenager! Now, people would have higher expectations for her!
“Fifteen?” the receptionist asked, visibly confused.
“Yes. She’s been having some…accidents,” Tina said, patting Leah’s diapered butt. “So, since she needs to wear protection, she’ll be coming here for a little while.”
“That explains the diaper, but why is she only wearing a T-shirt?”
“Because of the diaper, she’s pretending to be a toddler for the time being. But since the people here will be helping to take care of her, I want to make sure they know the truth. Just because she’s in daycare doesn’t mean she needs to be treated like a toddler.”
“Ah.” The receptionist smiled at Leah. “It’s nice to meet you, Leah!” Leah mumbled that it’s nice to meet her, too. Then, Tina went around the daycare, showing Leah to all the workers, telling them what she had told the receptionist.
By the end of it, Leah was incredibly disappointed. So much for having a relaxing time pretending to be a toddler. Though, she could think of a way to get back at Tina. While Tina was chatting with the last coworker she wanted to introduce Leah to, Leah decided to pee, with Tina still holding her.
“Ahhhhh,” Leah sighed in an exaggerated manner as she wet her diaper. The coworker chuckled.
“You weren’t kidding about her needing the diapers! I can change her, if you want.”
“That would be great. I need to call the high school and get her homework. I don’t want her to get behind on her schoolwork while she’s going here.”
Great. Leah was still expected to do her high school work, even while she was at daycare. And she hadn’t even gotten back at Tina, as the coworker was going to change her. The coworker took Leah from Tina and brought her over to a changing table, where she quickly and efficiently put Leah into a clean diaper. Tina returned.
“Leah, tomorrow, you’ll have to start doing your regular schoolwork,” Tina informed Leah, still on the changing table, though in a fresh diaper now. “But today, you can goof off and play with the toddlers.” Leah nodded. Tina brought Leah over to a group of toddlers in the main area.
Leah happily joined in playing with the toddlers. She discovered that she loved it, and knew immediately that she wanted to continue attending daycare like a toddler. But how could she get out of doing the schoolwork that was better suited for her age?
