The week of Thanksgiving break started off in an odd way because it rained, hard. Because of that, there wasn't any hunting done by Animalia's predators. Fortunately there was enough meat to go around at the Thanksgiving Banquet, so most of the work was focused in getting the dishes ready at the Great Hall. Fortunately the GGAC was helping getting everything together, such as getting the ingredients for the real chefs and getting the finished dishes into the warmers or coolers in the Great Hall's kitchen. This did enable some talk about what was going on in Animalia.

"So how is Milli?" asked one of the chefs of Steven, who was pushing one of the speed racks containing pies to the cooler.
"She's alright," answered Steven, "But I want to know why she can't move her arms or legs."
"From what I heard," said the chef, "She was another victim of a lobotomy, but came out of it better than Daisy, Jioni, or Hunni did."
"How so?" asked Steven, slightly dreading the answer.
"While she did lose use of her arms and legs due to the lobotomy, she didn't end up as a vegetable." replied the chef, "In fact, apart from her arms and legs becoming useless, she's actually quite fine."
"Okay then." said Steven, now a little more relieved.

"So you're 'Max'?" asked Peter, meeting the newest Shire Horse Animalian in the Great Hall while setting up tables.
"Yes, that's me." said 'Max', a little surprised.
"Come see us later," said Peter, in a suitably mysterious way, "our clan would like to evaluate you."
"'Kay." said 'Max', a little nervous, but already aware of what the GGAC were, and they weren't one of those organizations he read about in graphic novels.
